Plan to charge the battery for four hours after you receive your new CoutourHD before the first use. According to the manual, the battery supports up to 4 hours of redording time. So if you use a 16 gig card (maximim capacity) which records for 8 hours, you will need more than one battery. Some users charge the battery with the included USB cable. Others prefer to purchase the battery charger accessory.
Though similar to its predecessor, the Contour HD is packed with more technology and is a great buy. If you are interested in active sports and want a way to share the adventure action with your family and friends, the VholdR ContourHD is the way to go.
